After signing up and receiving your account details, you can log in to our Service Management Portal to build and customize your VPS server(s).

Use any browser to go to the Service Management Portal. Enter the email address you used to register with us and the password that was provided with the “Your ZerOne Hosting Account is ready” email and click on “Submit”.

Click on “New” or on “Create an item”

You can now select your OS image. If you have a Windows VPS plan then Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016 will be available to select for deployment. If you have a Linux VPS plan, then only Linux OS images will be available for selection. For our tutorial we’ll select the Windows Server 2012 R2 image.

Enter the VPS name and the password for the Administrator account. – Do not lose or forget your password, we do not have access to it and there is no way to access your VPS without it –

If you have purchased more than one plan you will also get a “Subscription” drop down box with multiple options. Make sure to select the subscription you want to assign to the new VPS.

Note that the VPS name cannot contain spaces or any of the following characters: `[email protected]#$%^&*()=+[]{}|;:'”,<>/?_ .

You don’t have to enter any product key in the text box. This is taken care of automatically during provisioning, your Windows Server installation will be activated after your first login.

Once everything is entered correctly click on the right arrow to continue.

Select “Public” for the Network Adapter and then click on the checkmark to complete the process.

Your VPS should now begin provisioning. Click on “Details”.

You must wait until the “Checking progress of the operation” completes. This can take from 1-20 minutes depending on provisioning load and network traffic on each server.

Once your VPS is provisioned you should get an “Operation completed successfully” message.
